How to Share Your Sermon Shots Clips Directly to Social Media
With Sermon Shots, you can share your sermon clips directly to Facebook and Instagram — no extra downloads or third-party tools needed. This guide will walk you through how to connect your social media accounts and post your clips in just a few steps.
Please add a short intro video or Loom walkthrough at the top of this section if available. The video transcript referenced in the demo should be a good source for screen recording screenshots. Capture and insert screenshots at each major step below where placeholders are marked.
Before You Connect Facebook & Instagram to Sermon Shots
Connecting your church's social accounts to Sermon Shots is quick — but only if everything is set up correctly on Facebook and Instagram first.
Skipping any of the steps below is the most common reason the connection fails. Please complete all 7 steps before attempting to link your accounts inside Sermon Shots.
What You'll Need to Set Up First
Before connecting to Sermon Shots, make sure you have the following ready:
- A personal Facebook account — Facebook requires this to manage Pages.
- A Facebook Page — This represents your church on Facebook.
- An Instagram Business account — Personal or Creator accounts will not work.
- Your Instagram connected to your Facebook Page — This link is required for Sermon Shots to detect your Instagram.
- A Facebook Business Portfolio (Business Manager) — This is how Facebook organizes your Page and Instagram together.
- Admin access to your Facebook Page — You must be listed as an Owner, not just an assigned user.
- Your Instagram connected to your Facebook Page in Business Manager — This link is required for Sermon Shots to detect your Instagram.
Why This Matters
Sermon Shots connects to your social accounts through Facebook's system. Facebook requires all of the above to be in place before any third-party platform — like Sermon Shots — can access your Page or Instagram.
If any step is missing or misconfigured, your Page or Instagram may not appear during the connection process.
